Our Client, one of the largest and most international retailing companies, is looking for a Candidate for temporary position (1 year with posibility to takeover in permannet employment ):

Consultant Finance and Accounting Processes

Location: Düsseldorf / Germany

Main Duties:
  • Conducting consultancy within an international team
  • Developing global end-to-end processes within the area of finance & accounting processes
  • Leading the global development of the process “Accounts Payable”
  • Driving the change towards globally harmonised processes and best practises
  • Analyzing and defining process standards (process flow-charts, detailed process descriptions, activity-and-responsibility matrices and training material)
  • Reconciling standard decisions with management
  • Create a network towards the operative units in order to facilitate the change towards the harmonised global process
  • Supporting the development of the global process model
  • Serving as basis for group-wide shared services


Requirements:
  • University or equivalent degree in business administration, management information systems, economics or industrial management (Bachelor, Master or Diploma)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
    Fluency in English
  • Good knowledge of accounting and controlling processes
  • Very good knowledge of procurement to pay process
  • Fundamental knowledge of SAP-based processes and systems
  • Work experience in systems and process consultancy, ideally within retail or wholesale
  • Project experience with proven capability to deliver in international projects
  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles
  • Good co-operation and communication skills
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and international team
  • Ability to travel on an international basis
  • Strong MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio).
