Senior Cisco Network Engineer

One of the IT Competence Centre, which support and develop the Global IT Applications and infrastructure worldwide. Currently the company is expanding Tricity team and looking for passionate Senior Cisco Network Engineer.

Your new role
You will be a part of a team of dedicated professionals, who support and develop the Global IT Applications and company infrastructure worldwide. You will be responsible for providing overall network infrastructure support including tactical and strategic input on overall network planning and related projects. You will work with the company’s vendors/service providers in order to track, manage and resolve the root cause of major or very complex problems and incidents. Supporting maintenance and enhancement activities of the company network, including voice, video, LAN, WAN, and wireless networks will be your daily task. Moreover, evaluates new technologies, makes recommendations for new standards and participation in call-out service / on-call duty.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need at least 5 years’ experience in network area, in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN, VOIP, firewalls, VPN and proxy services and Cisco CCDA/CCNA certifications. What is more strong experience in project work and interfacing with vendors and customers is required. You should be able to travel to North America as needed, up to 25 %. Excellent analytical skills and fluent written and spoken English are required.
