Front End Developer with .Net

Localization:  Gdańsk


Introduction

Working as programmers at Powel our goal is to create well-designed, efficient, intuitive and smart apps that boost our customers’ work processes and revenues. Now we are looking for Front End Developer with knowledge of C#/.NET and JavaScript to join our team in Gdansk, helping us build multi-tenant and cloud-based solutions using Azure platform.


Job description

Work in these projects involves:

• Influence on design, architecture and whole lifecycle of the solution
• Impact on our deployment pipeline (TeamCity and Octopus)
• Building micro services rather than big enterprise monoliths
• Some projects are stand-alone and some require working with Azure cloud
• The majority of our projects is web-based
• Being part of a scrum team and working closely with solution manager in order to:
  • understand how the system works
  • define and verify the functional and system requirements
• Improving existing code
• Willingness to write unit and integration tests

Preferred background and qualifications

• Min. 2 years of experience in as Front End developer
• Min. 2 years of experience in JavaScript and knowledge of the following frameworks: Angular, React
• Experience with .NET/C# (preferably Web API with RESTful)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar
• Ability to write clean and readable code (you won’t work alone)

Preferred personal qualities

• Passion for programming
• Curious and eager to learn cloud patterns using Azure stack
• Good communication skills to interact with peers
• Considering job as a craftsmanship

Language skills
Since Powel is an international player, you must meet these language requirements:

• English: Good verbal and written communication skills
