We are looking for a candidate for the position of Software Architect

 

Our client is a global software producer for managing IT infrastructure, systems and networks. The solutions are based on a scalable platform and include, among others, remote monitoring and management.

 

It is a stable international company that has been operating for over 20 years, with offices around the world. 

 

Project: Backup & Recovery: a cross-platform solution for customers that provides a hybrid two-layer backup technology (works locally and in the cloud).

◾Protected: 160+ petabytes of data, 600 000+ devices, 135 000 companies

◾Data stored in 30 data centers in 17 countries.

 

Technology stack: C++ / Python / .Net Core / TS/Angular, Cloud Native (AWS), Kubernetes, MySQL/SQLite, Terraform, microservices

*Not everything from this technology stack is required!

 

Location: 100% remotely or from the office (Warsaw center)

Rate: 24 000 - 30 000 PLN net+VAT  

Employment: B2B or UoP, full-time, long-term. UoP signed directly with our client

Methodology: Scrum

Start: In compliance with the candidate's notice period. A 3 month notice period is also accepted)

Zakres obowiązków / Responsibilities

Technical:

• Reviewing and adjusting requirements and specifications in order to provide the feedback
• Transforming the requirements into a technical design which is reliable, scalable, secure, and performant
• Applying the business model within the architecture function
• Evaluating the feasibility of technical solutions by developing prototypes 
• Performing code and feature analysis reviews

 

Collaboration:

• Collaborating with development team, product managers, and program managers in order to evangelize the technical vision
• Interacting with other departments, leaders, vendors, partners and/or customers 
• Identifying technical risks in collaboration with Program Managers

 

Leadership:

• Presenting ideas to business and technical audiences
• Setting technical direction for the product
• Providing mentoring to engineers and assisting in prioritizing projects and tasks

Oczekujemy/ We expect

• Software engineering experience (a good candidate would be a Senior Developer / Lead Developer with 1+ year of experience as an Architect).
• Experience with AWS (ideally) or with other clouds. Cloud Native approach is preferred
• Knowledge of REST, SOA and Microservices 
• Familiarity with CI/CD best practices
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Advanced English skills (communication in the international environment)

 

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with multiple areas of programming (e.g., web development, concurrency, non-blocking I/O, algorithms, etc.)
