Technical Accountant Assistant

Job location: Warsaw, Poland

Our client is a leading global provider of insurance, annuities, employee benefits and asset management which is expanding its presence in Poland with the creating of a finance Centre of Excellence for EMEA.

Major responsibilities:

• Complete multiple tasks in the production and reporting of insurance technical data within the strict deadlines to ensure submission of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting
• Perform multiple reconciliations including Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Post and calculate journal entries to the general ledger
• Conduct other ad hoc reporting requirements and participate in special projects, as they arise

Expectations:

• Business College degree
• Ability to meet tight and regular deadlines
• English language skills
• Good Excel skills essential with experience of Financial Systems
• Experience of performing reconciliations and journal entries
• Good attention to detail and experience of finance controls
• Team player who can also work on tasks independently and able to integrate quickly into a busy finance team
• Other European languages is an advantage
