Country Sales Representative (part-time, 40 hours/month)

As an innovative company, Food Autonomy (www.foodautonomy.org) is convinced that the key to success is the application of new technologies. Having in-depth knowledge in the field of lighting techniques, we are focusing specifically on greenhouse lighting and vertical farms, controlled by an industry benchmark wireless controller and software. Our aim is to offer world-class quality LED lighting and smart solutions to growers and farmers for use in their precision indoor farming operations. To achieve this, we are looking for new colleagues to take part in our success story by generating added value.

Responsibilities of Country Sales Representative Poland – 40 hours/month

  • Extend, develop potential customers pipeline and new business relationships in Poland/ Germany / France for Food Autonomy
  • Drive the commercialization of Food Autonomy’s range of LED Horticulture products throughout the country.
  • Maintain regular contact with potential customers about their future plans and needs; continuously update central sales team
  • Build, develop and manage the relationships to effectively reinforce our presence
  • Develop and evaluate LED Horticulture enquiries, taking an active part in managing the sales process up until order stage
  • Work closely with internal functions including technology, finance, marketing and product management to successfully complete the projects
  • Ability to articulate with customers from grower to C Level.
  • Drive brand awareness and market presence working closely with Food Autonomy’s Marketing Team
  • Work with relevant associations, attend conferences and trade shows to promote the Food Autonomy brand

Requirements:

  • Extensive sales and marketing experience with proven record in sales representation / agency network
  • Sales experience with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to understand the technical background of the products and discuss it with end users
  • High energy, assertive, and self-motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment individually
  • Microsoft user skills, PowerPoint, excel etc.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in Polish & English is essential
  • Other European languages are a benefit
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the country without restrictions and hold a full driving license

Significant positive:

  • Familiarity with horticultural / agricultural sales, technology and processes; access to horticulture sales networks
