CALL OF PROPOSAL

FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF ONE EMPLOYEE

BY THE GREEK NATIONAL TOURISM ORANIZATION

OFFICE OF POLAND AND CZECH REPUBLIC

 

 

1.         Information about the employer: GNTO

Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) is a public entity established on the year 1950 in Greece. Under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, it is responsible for promoting Greece as a tourism destination. Its role is to encourage travelers to visit and explore the country and help increase awareness for Greece. GNTO operates over 20 years in several key markets all over the world. The Office of GNTO based in Warsaw was established on the year 2017 and it is responsible for the promotion of Greece as a tourism destination at the countries Poland and Czech Republic.

 

2.         Description of the position: Local Staff

• Monitoring of the tourist markets under the responsibility of the office, demand recording and evaluation, market research, collection and processing of statistical data.

• Director’s assistant regarding everyday topics of the Office.

• Monitoring the implementation of advertising programs and other promotional activities of the office.

• Communication with the Office’s partners under the guidance of the director.

• Support at the organization of familiarization trips (fam & press trips).

• Support at the organization of the Office's participation in tourist fairs and other events for the promotion of Greece, as a tourist destination.

• Contact & mailing list management, writing and sending Newsletters, Press Releases and other material to interested parties.

• Development and maintenance of the Office's presence on social media and other online platforms support in the development and management of any kind of communication activities of the Office.

• Participation in committees and other collective bodies of the Office.

• Other tasks that will arise to meet the needs of the Office.

 

 

 

3.         Tasks - qualifications- requirements- skills

• Degree related to the subject of the position (tourism studies, marketing studies, communication, humanities / social sciences, etc.) and/or postgraduate degree, which will be considered as a special qualification.

• Excellent knowledge of the Polish language (written and spoken).

• Very good to excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken).

• Very good to excellent knowledge of the Greek language (written and spoken).

• Experience in public relations and excellent communication skills.

• Excellent knowledge of information systems (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media, which will be proven by recommendations, certificates and relevant previous service.

• Previous professional experience of at least 2 years with related employment (tourism, communication, marketing, public relations) will be taken into account as a special qualification.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Initiatives for actions and the possibility of keeping schedules

• Familiarity with Greece, Greek history and culture, as well as the modern Greek reality will be considered as a special qualification.

• Willingness for continuous learning and improvement.

• Possibility of movement inside Poland and abroad.

• Gravity and confidentiality given the employment in a National Agency.

 

4.         Guarantees of working environment or other benefits

• Fixed-term employment contract up to two (2) years.

• Possibility of travels.

• High level working environment.

The last date accepted is the 10th of March 2024, time 00:00, not later.

8.         Information on the procedure for notification of candidates

The CV will be collected and evaluated by the Director of GNTO Office in Poland and then the Director will communicate with the selected candidates in order to arrange interview date. Αfter completing the interviews process, the candidates will be informed within 1 month period about the results. 

9.         Responsible statement on the use of personal data

Your data will be processed in order to carry out the recruitment process (the basis for data processing is taking the necessary actions at the request of the data subject before concluding the contract - Article 6 (1) letter b of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46 / EC (general regulation on data protection) and Article 221 of the Labor Code) and for future purposes recruitment, if you agree to it (the basis for data processing in this case will be your consent - Article 6 (1) (a) of the General Data Protection Regulation).

You have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, deletion or limitation of processing, as well as the right to transfer your data and file a complaint to the supervisory body.
