Purchase Manager

For our packaging client we are currently looking for a Purchase Manager.

Type of work: Hybrid​ - 3 days from the office 2 days from home​ (Kraków) and visiting suppliers and local trade shows.

Opis stanowiska:

• Managing the performance and development of the local procurement team by leading by example, supporting and promoting the company's mission, vision and strategy. 20%
• Ensuring that all departmental processes and procedures are met and up to date at all times. 5%
• Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and reports. 5% Achieve cost-effective purchasing of all existing products, in line with company requirements, throughout from established suppliers, by tracking and reporting on key KPIs. Approve purchase orders and organise and confirm delivery of goods and services. Conduct risk assessments of potential contracts and agreements. 30%
• Execute the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs. procurement costs. 5%
• Effective optimisation of purchasing activities, e.g. through participation in projects. 10%
• Negotiating with established suppliers and vendors to secure favourable terms and conditions. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers. 15%
• Effective cooperation and coordination with other departments, national and European. 10%

Wymagania:

• At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in purchasing management (in a multinational company in an international trading company, preferably in a packaging environment).
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management.
• Proven experience of working in a purchasing department. 
• Advanced knowledge of English.
• Experience using supply chain management software and tools. 
• Understanding of supply chain processes.
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts and negotiating terms and conditions.
